Asset Coordinator
Competition: AE-2017-067

Acden Environment LP. is seeking one (1) Asset Coordinator to join its Offsites operations.

These positions will consist of 10 on, 4 off; rotations; 10-hour day shifts. This is a local position to Fort McMurray; candidates must have their own accommodations and transportation within the region.
The Asset Coordinator is responsible for the inventory management, accounting, repair of waste bins throughout our client base, and promoting positive relationships with clients. The Asset Coordinator will also instruct and train employees for all operating positions within Acden Environment.

Please note: Schedules, shifts and site locations may change from time to time to meet operational requirements.


Duties and Responsibilities:
• Conduct a monthly inventory and reconcile inventory for all Offsites/CNRL accounts in TRUX prior to end of each month. Report to management the status of reconciliations
• Conduct minor bin maintenance upon all sites as require and work with Dispatch and Acden Fleet Maintenance in the coordination of bin repairs
• Preparing work requests/quotes for Fleet to provide repairs
• Maintain repair log for all bins repaired by Fleet Services
• Implement training objectives which will ensure safety of the employee, client, civilians, and equipment
• Utilize a variety of effective and professional teaching techniques and methods which assist employees in attaining the performance objectives of the program, which include but not limited to: coaching, demonstration, visual and manual explanations for procedures and standards
• Develop and maintain evaluation data indicating employee’s progress; at the completion or termination of employee’s training, submit a report of total number of hours of training the employee received and the related skills achieved
• Submit to the supervisors all forms and information needed for attendance.
• Attend professional development courses and meetings as requested by supervisor
• Safety:
i. Inspects bins to ensure hydraulic pistons, latches and hinges are in good working order
ii. Attend and lead Toolbox Talks
iii. Report all incidents immediately to HSE, management team and dispatch
iv. Assist with related incident investigations
v. Complete related LCR’s ensuring accuracy and submit to HSE coordinator
vi. Always be aware and intervene as necessary to ensure a safe workplace for all
vii. Ensure appropriate PPE is worn based on work environment and locations
viii. Instill a safety culture through daily interactions and observations
• Perform additional duties as they may arise that would fulfill the mandate of providing complete service to the client.
Job Qualifications:Qualifications:
 Mechanical aptitude
 Class 1 Driver’s Licence with Air Brake endorsement
 Heavy equipment proficiency is a strong asset
 Experience in the waste service industry is an asset
 Attention to detail
 Clear and precise verbal and written communication skills
 Strong computer skills (Microsoft office)
 High degree of accuracy

Requirements:
 Comprehensive Drug, Alcohol, Audiometric and Visual pre-employment screening test.
 Clean 5-Year Driver’s Abstract.
 Must be eligible to work at all Oilsands client sites within the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.
 Must be able to successfully complete a driver’s evaluation in the Fort McMurray region.
 Must have a valid OSSA and CSTS, and/or OSSA BSO certification.
