Materials Technician

We’re currently seeking a seasonal materials technician to join us, with the potential to become permanent for the right individual.

Responsibilities:

• Perform field and laboratory tests on asphalt, concrete, soil, and aggregate.
  Monitor and conduct testing for construction Quality Control/Quality Assurance (QC/QA).
  Provide assistance in foundation construction activities.
  Monitor the placement and compaction of fill materials.
  Conduct monitoring and testing of concrete.
  Compile comprehensive field and laboratory reports.
  Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues on-site.

Qualifications:

• Preference given to those with experience as a Materials Field Technician.
  Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record.
  Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, and management.
  Willingness to work up to 12 hours a day, including weekends and overtime as needed.
  Availability for out-of-town projects.
  Team-oriented mindset with a focus on safety excellence.
  Preference will be given to candidates with CCIL certification, construction experience, and safety tickets.
